We are getting a lot of feed back from the Seven Gates area about fires and rubbish left all over the place.  Please be mindful to take your rubbish with you and clean up after yourself.  Please be sure to carry your PFD & fishing licences as NSW Maritimes are out. Nsw fisheries inspectors are working the Snowy Mountains area during the peak holiday season. So remember if you do not have a current fishing licence and on your person you will be fined. So for the sake of 5 minutes do yourself a favour.

Maritime services are on the lakes, So make sure you water craft are up to par with current safety standards, if you are not sure contact Ph 13 12 56 or website:

FLYFISHING EUCUMBENE
Flyfishing is still going well around the mouth off the river and down towards Anglers Reach most fishermen are using inter fly lines with woolly buggers, fuzzys, woolly worms with a really slow retrieve
If you can handle the night fishing black woolly buggers are working well. Make sure when using a inter fly line make your leader around “6,foot”.
Over at Buckenderra things have been a little slow so try a fuzzy wuzzy with a slow retrieve.
Rushes bay use the same flie and retrieve as Buckenderra.
Seven gates if you are fishing the mornings try a Mrs Simpson trailing a brown or black Nymph behind it around noon change over to a woolly bugger or a woolly worm.
Best wet fly to use would be the fuzzy wuzzy overall

LAKE JINDABYNE FLY FISHING
Lake jindy is starting to pick up now with the brown coming back from the rivers so this is a good time for walking the lake shores and start looking for them big browns.
If your going polaroiding best times are early mornings no wind and the fish are active.
This is to me the best way to fish walking the banks looking for that big brown.
best places to go is snowline caravan park up along hatchery bay around about 10.30am try around at the Bowling club move you way round to poo bay.
best flies are Nymphs, woolly buggers, and small fuzzy wuzzys.

LAKE EUCUMBENE TROLLING
Most off the trolling reports are coming from the top end with good results around Anglers Reach, Braemer Bay, Observation point and over at Collingwood bay.
Most fish have been taking Tassie Devils out wide with some good reports off rainbow and the Browns taking the rapalas .
Trolling up past Angler Reach has been ok with the odd rainbow and Brown but once you have got to the river mouth you best stopping and have a cast fishermen are still getting good fish
But remember stay away from the visible flow all fishing around there is still going well.
Best Lures Tassie Devils 25,21,5,8,16,y62,114,94
LAKE JINDABYNE TROLLING
Best Lure are Blades, Rapalas,
Stings 5, 3, 24, 21

EUCUMBENE BAIT FISHING
bait fishing has picked up in places around buckenderra and Middlingbank good reports on the worms and Yabbies if you can get them just look under some rocks that's the best place to find them.
power bait is still working but out in the deeper waters with a meter leader or more some people have been getting there chunky cheese and rolling it into a worm very smart :)
best areas are Middlingbank, seven gates, Anglers Reach and the dam wall.

My good old mate Ken Cain with a 7lb brown "Remember ladies he's Single'

Kens mate John with some nice browns
