Most fly fishing has been ok in areas down the bottom end off the lake Rushes, Seven gates, frying pan best places to target are all the gully areas after all that rain the water has been flowing in down the gully’s
that’s where the rainbows and browns have been feeding. Woolly Buggers, Woollie Worms, Fuzzy’s, Mrs Simpsons have been the pick off the flies.
the good part off this fishermen have been coming in saying they have seen a lot off fish rising so lets hope this continues.
Once October gets here it’s Nymph time thing should Improve on the lakes.
Over at jinabyne things are starting to look better with good results coming from Kalkite, sids bay, poo bay, reports have been good up the river with rainbow going up spawning ‘’NOW THAT’S GOOD’’
Remember it’s only early yet there’s not much insect life around at the moment but when it happens i think we are in for a good year!!
I’ll be heading up Eucumbene river next week to have a look at the rainbows lets hope there up there if they are it should be a good season on lake Eucumbene so stay tuned.
