FLY FISHING LAKE EUCUMBENE & JINDABYNE The fishing is great and the lake are up the fly fishing is good so don’t miss it.

Eucumbene. Is fishing really well with reports coming in fish are taking Nymphs, Midge, Buzzers, late at night small Mrs Simpsons, fuzzys, woolly buggers, Craig’s Nightimes,
Remember go small that seems to be the go. Most fishing has been down around Rushes and frying pan but now we are getting good results around Middlingbank and seven gates reports are really good on the browns and rainbows.
To me this is it the fishing is on the rainbows and browns are active and the lakes are all up you would be crazy to miss it!!!
Up the top end off the lake things are Improving with good results on the rainbows and browns the lake is up past Providence and fishing well.
As I said get up there it's fishing well and thanks to the Snowy Hydro and all that rain the lake looks so good and the fishing is good.
Best areas are Middling bank, Rushes, frying pan, seven gates and Providence.

TANTANGARA Is fishing well much the same as Eucumbene and looking a treat yes the rainbow and brown are on the go as well

JINDABYNE Is fishing well around most areas mostly over on the western side with some good rainbows taking small woolly buggers and nymphs. Late in the afternoons start going bigger with the flies Woolly buggers, Muddlers, Mrs Simpsons and bead head Nymphs.
Still getting some reports around poo bay and down around the dam wall where the water is cooler with the lake so high the fish are in close and out wide so there’s greater target of fish to get on the lake at the moment.

THREDBO RIVER Is fishing good with all the reports coming in most fishermen are happy still getting reports on rainbows in good numbers that’s a big Improvement form last year.
Most fish are taking dry Flies Adams Parachute, Royal wulff, sparkle pupa, Klinhammers.
Best places are paddy’s corner, bridge down, ski tube, Thredbo township.

EUCUMBENE RIVER fishing is still going well on most parts off the river but your best fishing is late in the afternoons with plenty off fish rising the water is still cool and running well.
Best dry flies are wulff’s, klinkhammers, Nymphs, Humpy’s
Remember the best fishing will be late in the afternoons and it is fishing well.

TANTANGARA,
Reports have been good up in the river most fly fishermen have been getting browns and just a few rainbows but it’s all looking good up that way at the moment the insect hatch has been good and the fish are very active late in the afternoons. Nymph fishing with a strike indicator has been the best way to fish or a Royal wulff and Nymph.

EUCUMBENE & JINDABYNE TROLLING AND IT’S FISHING VERY WELL

Most trolling been good best results have been coming from the Dam wall and around the bottom end off the lake Rushes,Wainui bay, Pasture bay, Brookwood, Seven gates.
Best times to troll are at 5am to 10am and in the afternoons from 4pm till dark.
