Eucumbene 45.6% rising
Jindabyne 86% rising
Tantangarra 34.77% rising

Thanks to a wet start to December the lakes have been rising steadily.Eucumbene has been fishing well for those who brave the winter like conditions. Trolling with downriggers,as well as flatlining the shallow bays on overcast days and low light periods being very productive.Surface temps have risen and we are just starting to see a bit more surface activity.I fished the Dam wall on Sunday night after work and found heaps of fish gorging on the black spinners really tight to the boulders. They loved a size 16 spinner and took it with out any hesitations. Bait fishos are still getting their fair share of trout on scrubbies, mudeyes and the new dyna bait wood grub.Jindabyne has continued to be a little bit of a riddle with patchy success, with mixed reports of some anglers enjoying fruitful sessions, whilst others are left scratching their heads wondering.Wollindibby inlet and the creek between the lake to the road, hatchery bay and waste point have given up Atlantic Salmon and brooks on bullet lures as well as the Mapso spinner in red and black.Tantangarra is probably the pick of the Three main storages at the moment, its really starting to fire and looking gorgeous at 34%.Trout are honing in on tadpoles and yabbies around its margins and can be a very exciting place to fish ,especially in the first or last hour of light.Prospecting bays and soaks with shallow running lures like bullets, wobblers or wet flies will find fish quickly. Scrubbies, mudeyes and grubs are all good options, with the deep water around the wall being a hotspot right through out the day.Angler Debrah Kemmis showed me a pic of a marvellous 62cm brown taken on a scubby. All the mountain streams are flowing a touch harder than usual however anglers are still managing to get their fix with some really nice fish.Thredbo has been living up to its name with some quality trout on lure and swinging wet flies. The lower rivers like the bidgee are blown out and quite dirty, but still fun to search, particularly any back water where tadpoles are now in danger of roaming fish.So don the wet weather gear and get out amongst them! Tight lines!

Trolling overall has been ok with good reports coming in from most areas best times are early mornings late afternoons.
Trolling early close to the shore line as the sun comes up start moving out to the deeper waters, Late afternoons start moving back towards the shore line.
Slow it down most boats are going way to fast.

BAIT FISHING LAKE EUCUMBENE
Bait fishing is still going good if you fish at the right times “Early mornings and late afternoons if it a cloudy day stay out fishing is fine.
If you’re after the new bait yes we have it in stock and it’s working well.
Mudeye’s are still fishing well from mornings till late
Worms are going great and they will for sometime now after the rain keep them close to the shore line about 15/20 meters out.
Power Bait has been ok but the worms and mudeye’s are doing better, Salmon eggs, Lemon Twist, Sherbet, Marshmallow
