HEADLINES 
Please be sure to
carry your PFD & fishing licences as NSW Maritimes are out. Nsw fisheries inspectors are working the Snowy Mountains area during the peak holiday season. So remember if you do not have a current fishing licence and on your person you will be fined. So for the sake of 5 minutes do yourself a favour.

Maritime services are on the lakes, So make sure you water craft are up to par with current safety standards, if you are not sure contact Ph 13 12 56 or website:

LAKE EUCUMBENE FLY
Lake Eucumbene is starting to pick up with the lake moving up and the weather warming up and the insects are starting to hatch.
Backenderra is fishing well late in the arvo with some good results using double woolly buggers unweighted Brown, Black, Olive early mornings try black nymphs single or double at dark time black muddlers and woolly worms black or brown
Seven Gates, Mrs Simpsons, Woolly Worms, Brown Nymphs
Rushy”s Bay, Woolly Buggers, Muddlers,
Braemer Bay, Woolly Buggers all colours, Muddlers
 
Overall fly fishing is going great the browns are healthy and the rainbows are just starting to show up if fishing though the day try fishing with two flies.
 


 
LAKE JINDABYNE FLY
Fly fishing can be tricky at times but if you fish at the right times you will get results best time are early mornings and late afternoons,
Best flies Woolly Buggers, Mrs Simpsons, Try two flies better results
Though the day bigger flies in deeper waters Bushys Horror or Jindy Specials
Night time fishing Dark flies Woolly Buggers, Woolly Worms
Remember the trout festival is coming up so target the big fish, Widows Creek, Poo Bay, Kalkite  Best using a Inter 1.5ips fly line
 
Dry’s are a little slow at the moment so we recommend wets
 
 
EUCUMBENE LAKE
Trolling has been at it’s best with good results coming in from all parts off the lake so looks like the trout festival should be a great week coming up.
Buckenderra Trolling with Tassie Devils, Large Mapso Spinners, Blades, Rapalas, Strike Pro Minnows are all going well.
Early morning in close as the sun comes up start moving out into the deeper waters.
Spinning from the banks is just as good with Mapso Spinners, Small Bullet lures, Rapalas and Blades target large bays with plenty of mud and yabbie holes.
Bait Fishing,Is fishing at it’s best in most areas around the lake, Worms and power bait is going well and now we have our new grubs and meal worms in stock and it’s going well.
 
Overall the fishing at Buckenderra is going great Troll, Spin, Bait
Best Tassie Devils are, 48, 37, 10, 132, 133, 134, 135, 121, 117
 
Seven Gates, Trolling devils 48, 133, 121, 117, Blades, Rapalas, Strike pro Minnows
Best Bait, Worms and the new grubs and Meal Worms
Spinning The Banks, Large Mapso Spinners, Small Bullets and  Rapalas
 
Braemer Bay Trolling Tassie 48, 135, 121, Rapalas, Large Mapso Spinners
Best bait, Worms Power Bait



 
LAKE JINDABYNE BAIT FISHING
Bait fishing is still going well in most bays around Jindy with the new grub and meal worms doing the job come try them out not a bad bait at all!!
Other bait is Worms which has been fishing well all year Sorry no Mudeyes as yet.
 
TROLLING, Is at it’s best using Tassies 55, 26, 37, 133, 134
Rapalas, Strike pro Minnows, Blades
Best areas are Kalkite, Hatchery Bay, Waste point and down around the Dam Wall
When fishing in the deeper waters try using our large 26gram Tassies
