HEADLINES 
Please be sure to
carry your PFD & fishing licences as NSW Maritimes are out. Nsw fisheries inspectors are working the Snowy Mountains area during the peak holiday season. So remember if you do not have a current fishing licence and on your person you will be fined. So for the sake of 5 minutes do yourself a favour.

Maritime services are on the lakes, So make sure you water craft are up to par with current safety standards, if you are not sure contact Ph 13 12 56 or website:

EUCUMBENE LAKE FLY
Fly fishing is still going good with good reports from the bottom end of the lake
Buckenderra, Fuzzy Wuzzy’s, Graig’s Night time, Bead Head Nymphs and Muddlers
Seven Gates, Mrs Simpsons, Graig’s Night Time, Woolly Buggers, Muddlers
Rushes, All the above
Best times to fish early mornings and late afternoons into the night
Some really good reports of rainbows on the move at night times and browns early mornings
Overall the fly fishing on lake Eucumbene has been great, Not many reports around the top end so if anyone is up that way please drop in let us know!
 
EUCUMBENE RIVER FLY
The river is still flowing well and the fishing is starting to pick up with good reports of fish taking plenty of dry flies and Nymphs
Just a reminder if you are heading to Denison and Sawyers the gates are still locked why I really don’t know? So if your are thinking about fishing there put your walking shoes on that’s the only way you will get down that way.
So at the moment everywhere is safe to fish all fires are out and the rivers are looking good and fishing well happy days ahead.
Overall the fly fishing is going great on most rivers.


 

 
GUTHEGA LAKE FLY
If you have never fished this lake this is the time to do so the fishing is as good as it gets worth the drive up that way
Best flies are Stimulators, Wulff, Caddis
 
LAKE JINDABYNE FLY

NIMMITABEL DAM
Still fishing well on Nymphs, Woolly Buggers
 
JINDABYNE MOUNTAIN STREAMS
Are all fishing well, If you are heading up the Thredbo river best areas are the Ski tube, Thredbo township and down below the bridge at Jindy
 
MOWAMBA RIVER
Fishing is good great place to improve your dry fly fishing great river to use the light weight fly rod
 
Overall the fly fishing on all rivers have been good things have really improved over the last few weeks and should continue with all the great weather we are having.

EUCUMBENE LAKE TROLLING
Buckenderra is still trolling well on most Tassie and the new Tassie spoons, The Bright days have been a little hard but early mornings are the key get up early and you should get good results on the rainbows and browns
Don’t forget about the bullets lures and Blades both are working well.
Best areas are Buckenderra, Seven gates, Rushes Bay, Wainui Bay and Braemer Bay
Still haven’t had many reports from the top end
 
 
JINDABYNE LAKE

BAIT FISHING ON ALL LAKES
Eucumbene, Worms and Chunky Cheese power bait are the stand out baits and fishing well
Overall the bait fishing is pretty good so enjoy why we all have time before the world ends!!
